About House of Dusk
Welcome to House of Dusk — where the strange is sacred, and the beautiful is never quite safe.
Founded by artist and writer Amy Osborne, House of Dusk is a sanctuary for those drawn to the darker edges of beauty — where gothic meets ritual, and art becomes an altar.

This is not just a shop. It’s a slow, intentional rebellion against the polished, the hollow, and the ordinary.
We create artwork for the ones who’ve always felt like an echo in the wrong century. For the witch-hearted, the romantics in mourning, the ones who read too much and feel even more. You’ll find faceless portraits, haunted florals, skeleton botanicals, and insect specimens blooming with symbolism — all designed to hold space for your inner world.
Our collections are rooted in gothic, dark academia, maximalist, and macabre aesthetics, and inspired by the kind of folklore, history, and feminine myth that never quite died.
We believe in:
Making ritual out of the everyday — whether that’s styling your home like a spell, lighting a candle before journaling, or surrounding yourself with art that mirrors your soul.
Gothic expression as sacred rebellion — especially for those who were taught to hide, not to heal.
Creating a legacy of beauty, mystery, and meaning — one print, one page, one quiet moment at a time.
You’ll also find:
Our ritual guidebook, The Art of Ritual — a gothic feminine invitation to live with more intention, magic, and mystery.
Our immersive email courses, including The Art of the Macabre (free) and Death & Desire: A Gothic Feminine Journey (a 14-day paid deep dive into shadow, longing, and ritual).
Seasonal releases of new art collections, each rooted in theme, story, and aesthetic exploration.
Everything we make is created to be felt, not just admired. Art as memory. Art as mirror. Art as spell.

Whether you’re here to adorn your walls, reclaim your shadow, or simply remember who you are — welcome to House of Dusk.
Let’s make the dark beautiful again.

Here, we honour rage as sacred, grief as wisdom, and mystery as power. From forgotten goddesses to modern rituals of reclamation, these writings invite you to remember what was buried, to embody your sovereignty, and to walk the path of shadow not as exile—but as initiation.

From the symbolism of deadly herbs to the lore of ravens, wolves, and other familiars, these writings delve into the natural magic of root and fang, petal and claw. Here, the garden is an altar, the beast a guide, and nature itself a spellbook written in blood, bloom, and bone.
